Wohniq is currently being built. This privacy policy describes how we handle your data during the current beta phase, and gives an outlook on how we will handle your data after Wohniq launches.
The controller responsible for processing your personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
Digital Front GmbH
Bern, Switzerland
UID: CHE-115.048.513

When you visit our website, technical information is automatically collected and stored in server log files by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and our content delivery network (CloudFront). This includes:
This data is used solely to ensure technical operation, diagnose errors, and detect misuse. It is not combined with other personal data. Log files are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in providing a technically sound and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Art. 31 FADP).
When you sign up for the beta, we collect only:
We collect no further data. No address, no name, no payment information.
Your email address is used solely to notify you when Wohniq launches and to give you the opportunity to use the service. We do not send advertising to third parties and do not share your data.
Processing your email address is based on your voluntary consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Art. 31 FADP), given by signing up for the beta. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
We currently do not use a double opt-in procedure. Your consent is given by entering your email address. You may unsubscribe at any time without giving a reason.
Your email address is stored with Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France). Brevo is GDPR-certified and processes data on EU servers. Brevo is used during the beta phase to manage sign-ups. After Wohniq launches, Brevo will be replaced by the core system and all beta data will be migrated or deleted.
We retain your email address until you unsubscribe or request deletion — at the latest at the time Wohniq launches, at which point you will be separately asked whether you wish to create an account.
You may unsubscribe from the beta at any time by sending us an email. We will delete your email address promptly and confirm the deletion.
This section describes how we will handle your data once the Wohniq service is available. Details may change before launch — we will update this policy in good time.
Wohniq follows the principle of data minimisation. We collect and store only the data strictly necessary to provide our service. In practice:
To provide the Wohniq service, we will collect and store:
Wohniq plans to offer an optional feature allowing you to upload your rental contract. An AI will automatically read the fields relevant to eligibility assessment. The document is not permanently stored — it is immediately and irreversibly deleted after processing. Only the extracted fields (rent, reference rate, date) are saved in your account.
We store your data for the duration of your subscription. After cancellation, your data will be deleted within 30 days, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Wohniq uses cookies exclusively for website analytics. We do not use advertising, tracking, or social media cookies.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Alternatively, you can disable cookies in your browser settings.
Since we only use analytics cookies and no advertising or tracking cookies, we do not display a cookie banner. We instead inform you transparently in this privacy policy about all cookies used.
Wohniq uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyse website usage. Data collected includes pages visited, time spent, approximate geographic origin, and device and browser information. IP addresses are anonymised and not permanently stored.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest in improving our website and optimising our offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Art. 31 FADP).
Some of our service providers process data outside Switzerland:
All third-party providers are contractually obligated (data processing agreements) to process your data only according to our instructions and applicable data protection law.
The Wohniq website and infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Zurich, Switzerland (eu-central-2) region. Your data does not leave Switzerland except as noted in section 7.
